SPEEDY CASH REVIEW

  • Speedy Cash was founded in 1997, started as a single store in Riverside California and is now a multi-state licensed direct lender.
  • They operate over 100 bricks and mortar stores in eleven states and service over 25 states via the internet.
  • In Nevada, Oregon and Washington they operate under the name Rapid Cash.
  • Loan amounts and rates are determined by the state in which you live in and are generally average to high compared to others lenders.
  • Their online SpeedyCash.com application form is relatively straightforward and quick to fill in, with minimum criteria required for approval.
  • They follow standard practice of transferring funds electronically to your account via an ACH/EFT transaction.
  • They permit no fax payday loans across the board and take on customers with imperfect or bad credit.
  • They boast ‘instant’ approval and a payday cash loan in as little as two hours, but typically funds will be transferred on the next business day.
  • They are obviously keen to take on repeat customers and getting approval for further loans is easy assuming previous ones have been paid off. They have a Returning Customer option on their application form to make this even easier.
  • You can take out a further loan immediately if previous payment was done via ATM, debit or credit card, or as soon as payment clears if paying via ACH/EFT debit, which can take up to three business days.
  • The online application process via the Speedy Cash.com website is secure.
  • They claim to provide an exceptional customer service and try to differentiate themselves with modern and attractively designed buildings. They also stress their commitment to the local community in which they reside by engaging in sponsorship and fund raising activities.
  • Despite their bold claims, we found that there is nothing that particularly differentiates SpeedyCash from other lenders. Most disappointing is that they do not provide any email contact address, just a telephone number. And when we called them with specific questions, we were transferred to a voicemail. We left messages on several occasions but our calls were never returned.
  • Speedy Cash is accredited by the Community Financial Services Association (CFSA).
